Look after your Opinel with Opinel’s own maintenance oil. It greases the blade and ferrule to keep them working smoothly, and nourishes wooden handles. It can also be used to care for wooden cutting boards.

How to use

Clean the knife and dry it with a soft, dry cloth. Put a few drops of oil on a cloth and rub it over the blade and ferrule. Wait until the blade is dry before closing the knife.

For the handle, apply a few drops of oil to a cloth and grease it evenly all over.
