Kombat Sighting Compass

Description
This folding sighting compass lets you take accurate bearings through its magnifying viewer. It has map scales for 1:24,000, 1:25,000 and 1:63,360 maps, a 5cm ruler and a neck cord, and it folds in half to fit a pocket. It weighs just 52g.
Sighting viewer. Line the sight up with a landmark and read the bearing in degrees through the magnifier. This is more precise than holding a baseplate compass at arm's length.
Map scales and ruler. The 1:25,000 scale matches OS Explorer maps. Use it with the 5cm ruler to measure grid references and distances.
Luminous needle. The needle glows in low light, so it stays readable at dusk or after dark.
It is an affordable choice for cadets, DofE groups and wild campers learning to navigate, and a useful spare for experienced walkers.
